Here at Openwoodgate Pre-school, we believe children’s needs and the level of care we give them is of the upmost importance. We also believe that the support we give to all our parents and carers is equally as important and we strive to meet each of these needs.

Each of our daily sessions (both morning and afternoon) are designed to provide and create lots of learning opportunities to inspire play and social interaction between our 2, 3 and 4 year olds.

We provide lots of curiosities to explore and encourage the children to initiate their own activities following their interests as well as move freely between activities.

Our session run Monday – Friday

Morning sessions start at 9:15 – 12:15pm

Afternoon sessions start at 12:15 – 3pm

All day sessions start 9:15 – 3pm

Rising fours school ready session Wednesday pm 12:15 – 3pm *please note these sessions are only for our children starting school*. These sessions are focused on getting our children ‘school ready’. We focus on independently changing ready for PE, a focus on educational games to promote letter and number recognition, phonics and reading. We also offer a Forest school session once a month in this session too.
